Courtney L. Campbell, Attorney at Law
As a newspaper carrier forThe Indianapolis Star for several routes during high school, I began my passion for business. During law school I clerked for Illinois Attorney General, Trade Regulation Division, and later for the United States Small Business Administration.
As an undergraduate, I attended Indiana University and obtained my law degree from DePaul Unversity in 1984. Upon graduation from law school, I helped found Indiana's first and only franchise consulting service. Over the years I have helped develop over 25 franchise programs. In 1994 I began my current practice serving business and franchise clients.
With a interest for international affairs, I served as an Intelligence Officer (Reserve) with the United States Navy from 1983 to 2008. After 9/11 I served on active duty as Deputy Chief for Intelligence, United States Navy, Far East in Tokyo, Japan.
As I represented franchise clients in expanding overseas, assisted business clients in hiring foreign workers, served in the military overseas, and have a Korean spouse, I increasingly became involved in immigration issues. In 2000 I joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and opened a practice in immigration.
